Sens technique
A compound based on calcium carbonate CaCO3 and/or magnesium carbonate MgCO3 used for the removal of aggressive carbon dioxide (CO2) from water in neutralisation and remineralisation processes. The water percolates through the neutralising mass in devices similar to conventional sand filters. The aggressive CO2 is converted into soluble alkaline earth hydrogen carbonates.
