Combined sewer system

System discharging domestic wastewater and stormwater into the same sewers. The combined network adds the economic advantage (a sole system to build and manage) to simplicity (any connection error is excluded by definition), but requires the taking into account of abrupt changes in the flow of rainwater when designing and sizing collectors and treatment facilities.
