Qualifies endangered, vulnerable, rare or remarkable species that meet the rankings established by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) or extracted from red books published nationally or regionally, but also nationally or regionally protected species, or subject to European or international regulations when they are of a real interest to national or regional heritage, as well as species that do not benefit from the protected status or are not included in red lists, but under specific ecological or biogeographical conditions, at a limit of an area or whose population is particularly outstanding.
