choice modelling method.
Définition
Sens technique
Method consisting in assessing an environmental good and based on surveys, during which respondents are asked to choose among several composite scenarios. In each set of choices, two alternatives and a reference situation (status quo) are proposed. The respondent chooses a scenario within each set or class of scenarios. A statistical analysis is then used to assign a value to each attribute level of the good considered, and therefore, by summing them, to the good in its entirety.
