Impact

According to the DPSIR (Driving Forces - Pressures - State - Impacts - Responses) conceptual data model it means the consequences of pressures on the aquatic environment (e.g. increase in phosphorus concentrations, loss of biological diversity, fish death, increased frequency of certain human diseases, modification of some economic variables, etc).
