Inclusion bias

Updated on 13/07/2018
Définition
Sens technique
Bias induced during an investigation when individuals report the same willingness to pay (WTP) for a particular environmental good (e.g. a section of river) and a broader one (e.g. all the rivers of the catchment area, or all the rivers in the Department). This confusion between geographic scales or between environmental issues (aquatic environments, biological diversity, air quality) is the inclusion bias.
