A planning instrument which sets out the rules for land use in the municipality. The land use plan (POS) defines a zoning of the municipal territory governing all development and construction activities. It especially includes regulations and a zoning plan. The law on urban solidarity and renewal (SRU) of 13 December 2000 replaced the POS by local urbanisation plans (PLUs).
