Updated on 26/10/2022
Définition
Sens technique
Plan for delimiting, at municipal or inter-municipal level, areas exposed to predictable natural hazards such as earthquakes, floods, avalanches or ground movements. The Risk Exposure Plan (REP) sets out the appropriate measures to prevent risks and minimize their consequences or make them bearable, both with respect to goods and to activities either being implemented or planned. It especially should determine the steps to prevent hindering the flow of water and restricting floodplains in a harmful way. The REP is a prevention document with particular purpose established at the initiative of the Prefect. The REP can be used as plan for the prevention of foreseeable natural risks (PPR) under the Act of 2 February 1995 on the strengthening of environmental protection.
