Sens technique
Representative ambient concentration of an element in a compound or in a substance in a given environment. It takes into account natural concentrations (natural geochemical background) and those possibly coming from anthropogenic sources other than the ones of the study site (e.g. non-point source pollution caused by fertilizers, heavy metals, etc).
