Control variable

Variable used to control rivers, broadly imposed by geology and climate: e.g. liquid flow, solid flow, geometry of the valley (slope in particular), nature of the forest cover in the catchment area, particle sizes and mechanical properties of the river bed and banks materials, or vegetal cover of river banks.
