Classification assigned to shellfish farming areas defined by prefectural order. The health classification is based on microbiological analyses (at least 26 values obtained over a year) and the analysis of contamination with heavy metals (lead, cadmium and mercury) of the shellfish present. It is given for each group of shellfish.
