Sens technique
Control, as part of the water status monitoring programme, designed to look for the pressure which causes an observed degradation. It is carried out when the reasons for any significant alteration of the environment are unknown, to determine the causes for a water body not meeting the environmental objectives (when operational control has not yet been established), or for monitoring accidental pollution.
