Overall index calculated from the concentrations of metals and metalloids, weighted by multipliers based on their degree of toxicity, according to the AFNOR standards T 90-112, T & T 90-113 90-119 (in METOX/day for discharges). This index is determined by the water agencies to levy pollution taxes.
