Generic name regrouping all types of toxicological indexes that establish a relationship between dose and effect (toxic with threshold effect or threshold dose) or between a dose and the probability of any effect (toxic without threshold effect). The VTRs are established by international organizations (World Health Organization, for example) or national institutions (High Council for Public Health in France, etc).Source
