Transparency

For a dam, it is an operation to limit sediment accumulation in the reservoir by restoring sediment transport in the river during floods. Operations of this type are generally planned in water regulations or in operating rules approved by the prefect. If this is not the case, they can be introduced into water regulations or operating rules by prefectural order.
