Définition
Sens technique
Area including the basins, sub-basins, fractions of sub-river basins and aquifer systems defined in the Decree of 29 April 1994. Water allocation areas (ZRE) are areas where a failure, other than exceptional, to reconcile resources to needs is detected. They are defined to facilitate the reconciliation of interests of different water users. Limits for authorization and declaration of the nomenclature decree are more stringent. In each Department concerned, a list of communities included in a water allocation area is recorded by a prefectural order. For information, these areas are found in the Adour-Garonne basin (5 sub-basins and 6 fractions of sub-basins), in the Loire-Brittany basin (7 sub-basins), and in the Rhone-Mediterranean-Corsica basin (2 sub-basins).Source
