Place on a water body regrouping control points where control operations are carried out over a given period to determine the quality of aquatic environments. The assessment site is the entity that gathers all relevant components required for a complete assessment of water status. For example, the assessment site can be: a station measuring the quality of surface water for bodies of water, the station measuring the quality of surface water in streams, the monitoring point for littoral waters, the well for groundwater quality.
