"Comma-separated values" format

This is a full-text format whose tabular data are separated by semicolons (";"). The CSV format is a very simple form of database, where each row is a record and the fields are separated by one predefined character. This file can easily be imported into a database or spreadsheet

Sens technique

A generic markup language of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The XML (Extensible Markup Language) format is used for describing, storing and exchanging structured data in the form of a tree. The interchange scenarios established by the National Service for Water Data and Reference-dataset Management (Sandre) are based on this language.
